The Berlin Sex Museum is dedicated to the history and practice of sex, in Berlin and beyond! Collaborating with artists, historians, and cultural creators, we create innovative and immersive multimedia exhibitions that bring sexual topics to life.

Founded in 2025 by Elise Hanrahan, Dr. Lorraine Rumson, and Lais Castro Reis, our exhibitions spotlight the history of Berlin as a centre of sexual culture and sexual research. We are creating space for innovative, transparent, accessible and collaborative approaches to history and education, while also highlighting the voices of people concerned – people with diverse sexualities and sexual experiences
